This is a digital pH sensor with RS485 Modbus RTU communication, designed for harsh environments where traditional electrodes suffer from rapid wear of the reference electrode. In addition to transmitting pH and temperature data and allowing all calibrations to be performed via the serial port, it features a robust RYTON® housing, has no moving mechanical parts, and is designed for quick installation and simplified maintenance.

The key lies in the three-electrode differential method: the glass electrode (measuring electrode) and the reference electrode are compared with a solution ground electrode. In this way, the system compensates for drifts and interference typical of challenging chemical applications, offering superior long-term accuracy and stability. The salt bridge and refillable reference reservoir contribute to a longer service life, even in the presence of sulphides and heavy metals, whilst the IP68-rated design with an integrated cable ensures reliability in the field. The result: fast and robust readings, with an extended service life compared to traditional single-reference electrodes.
