ORP (redox) sensor for industrial use, designed for harsh environments where standard electrodes suffer from rapid degradation of the reference electrode. It provides measurements of redox potential and temperature via RS485 Modbus RTU and allows all calibrations to be performed via the serial interface, simplifying commissioning and maintenance. The Ryton®/PVC sensor body with a porous Teflon® seal resists fouling and chemical attack; IP68 protection safeguards the high-impedance signal even during prolonged immersion. The PT100 is positioned close to the sensing membrane for accurate temperature compensation.

Unlike traditional single-reference redox electrodes, the three-electrode configuration compares the measuring electrode and the reference electrode with a solution ground electrode. This design reduces drift, interference and reference ‘poisoning’, extending the service life particularly in the presence of sulphides and heavy metals, and maintains a stable reference potential as pressure and temperature vary. The result is a more stable reading over time, with reduced maintenance and reliable operation even in the most challenging applications.
