These current transformers are designed for current measurement in low-voltage electrical systems, with configurations suitable for both through-wire (closed loop) and busbar (bus bar) mounting.

The housing is made of self-extinguishing thermoplastic material, while the standard 5 A secondary guarantees compatibility with measuring and protection instruments. The transformers are available with accuracy classes 0.5 and 1, and apparent ratings calibrated to the primary current.

The construction of the transformers strictly follows the main international standards of the electrotechnical sector, including:

  • CEI 38-1: Italian standard that defines the general requirements for current transformers;
  • IEC 185: international standard establishing the characteristics and performance of current transformers for measurement and protection systems;
  • EN 60044-1 / EN 60044-1A: harmonised European standards specifying requirements for current transformers used in AC measurement and protection systems.


These standards ensure that transformers comply with the highest standards of quality, safety and accuracy, making them suitable for integration into modern, reliable electrical systems.
