The DBP series of openable busbar current transformers combines a robust design with high measurement performance and extremely easy installation. The housing is made of self-extinguishing nylon conforming to IEC 185 V0 and UL-94 standards, ensuring protection and durability. Twin M4 screw secondary connectors and an integrated terminal cover ensure reliable and secure connections, while maintaining a compact profile.

A crucial aspect in the choice of model concerns the type of signal output. This can be:

  • Current output (1A or 5A): compatible with most conventional instruments and more resistant to noise, but requires suitable cables and more careful installation as the resistance of the cable itself affects the measurement.
  • Voltage output (333 mV): easier to install and suitable for connections away from the analyser, offers greater flexibility but requires compatible instruments and attention to shielding.
