These volumetric metersenable precise measurements and highly repetitive (better than ± 0.2%) with low and medium viscosity liquids 0 to 3000 cps. such as oils, fats, chocolate, eggs, cream, butter, sugar, spirits, soft drinks, mineral water, wine.
Operating principle
The liquid passing in a continuous manner through the measuring chamber causes the oscillatory movement of the piston contained in it.
The chamber is separated into two parts whatever the position of the piston, so that it is not possible any direct connection between input and output.
Therefore, for each complete oscillation of the piston corresponds to a volume of product transported between input and output well defined and detected by the dosing system.
The permanent magnets are inserted in the piston.
The REED sensor positioned to outside of the meter detects the movement of the piston and sends to the reading systems of the pulses that are totalized and processed.
Even a very small volume of liquid causes the movement of the piston and it is the basis of its excellent repeatability.
The counters KPO series have only the piston in movement and this ensures long life and ease of maintenance.
