Positive Displacement Flow Meters

Riels positive displacement flow meters are designed to measure, totalize and control the volume of liquid flowing through a pipe or industrial circuit. They are used to monitor consumption, manage product transfers, meter fluids or account for product quantities with stable, repeatable readings.

Operation is based on the
positive displacement principle: the liquid drives internal elements such as oval gears, oscillating pistons, rotors or gears, creating known volumes that are counted by the measuring device. Depending on the configuration, the measurement can be displayed locally on a mechanical register or electronic display, or transmitted as a signal to PLCs, supervisory systems, totalizers or batching controls.

The Riels range includes
configurable positive displacement meters for a variety of industrial applications, with models for oils, fuels, lubricants, solvents, viscous liquids, hydraulic fluids, paints and chemical liquids compatible with the instrument materials and operating conditions.
