The KP Pressure switches are used for regulation, monitoring and for industrial alarm systems.
The position of the switch depends on the setting of the pressure switch and on the pressure present in the connector.
The electrical contacts minimize vibrations, oscillations and wear and ensure long-term electrical and mechanical reliability.
Suitable for alternating and direct current.
The pressure switches are equipped with a double position single pole contact system (SPDT).
Versions with automatic and manual reset are available.
For demineralized water, there are special models with parts in contact with the medium in stainless steel (AISI 316L).
Definitions:
- Adjustment range: The pressure range within which the unit emits signals (contact switching).
- Differential: The difference between the contact closing pressure and the contact opening pressure. The differential is a necessary feature for stable operation in automatic systems.
- Automatic reset: Units with automatic reset restart automatically after a stop. Units with minimum reset restart after the pressure has increased by more than the fixed differential. Units with maximum reset restart after the pressure has dropped by more than the fixed differential.
- Permissible operating pressure - It is the maximum permissible constant pressure or the pressure variation to which the unit can be exposed.
