The TT series heating cable is a self-regulating semiconductor matrix heating cable used for protection against freezing, for maintaining the temperature of pipes, pumps, etc., in the refrigeration industry and for applications in industrial processes with temperatures up to 65°C/85 °C/120°C/190°C.
Its self-regulating characteristics make it very reliable and safe. Furthermore, it does not produce overheating or burns even if overlapped; the heating cable can be cut to size on site to the necessary length of the pipes, valves and pumps on which it is to be installed.
It can be spliced and branched in parallel with extreme simplicity of design and installation and it is not essential to know the exact layout of the system when ordering.
No special equipment is required for its installation and fixing to the pipes is done with simple adhesive tape.
The KITS include the power supply side and terminal side terminations and the cable glands to connect the heating cable directly into the power supply box.
All the accessories necessary for assembly and installation are available as well as a vast choice of thermostats and other control equipment.
For the execution of the electrical system it is necessary to comply with the C.E.l. regulations. and therefore the lines must be appropriately protected with fuses, circuit breakers, etc.
