This wall-mounted alarm unit activates visual and acoustic alarms in the event of accumulation of liquids that can be caused by tank leaks, flooding, storage rooms, inspection ducts, drip trays etc ...
Up to 5 probes can be combined with this control unit.
Suitable for the following fluids: water, fuel oil, diesel or low viscosity lubricating oils, engine oils, hydraulic oils, vegetable oils and transformer oils, antifreeze agents, oil-water blends and emulsions.
OM5 consists of a control unit with visual/acoustic alarm, test/confirmation button and one or more flexible PTC thermistor probes. The probe is mounted in the lowest point of the area to be monitored and the alarm is activated in case of contact with the leaked liquid.
The audible alarm can be deactivated with the dedicated button.
The visual alarm remains active until the leak has been removed.
The Test button allows you to simulate an alarm condition to perform a functional test.
The self-monitoring probe triggers an alarm if it is damaged.
The voltage-free relay contact is intended for connecting additional alarm equipment.
A sealing kit (IP 54) is available for difficult application conditions.
Use as a class III leak detection system according to EN 13160-1/-4 and as a leak detection system according to TRWS 791-/-2.
