VIEG-3P-Ex
The amplifiers of the VIEG series are devices designed to amplify and convert the sinusoidal voltage signal produced by IF inductive sensors. These sensors inject a voltage signal in the millivolt range. The VIEG amplifier, connected remotely via a cable, is responsible for amplifying and converting this signal.
What makes the VIEG amplifier unique is the spatial and thermal separation between the IF sensor and the amplification unit. This feature allows for measuring the flow even at extreme temperatures of the liquid, ranging from -196 °C to +350 °C [-320.8 °F to +662 °F].
In the VIEG amplification unit, for non-Ex applications, it is possible to freely select the desired output type by inserting or removing the 2 jumpers. However, it is important to emphasize that for all Ex-approved VIEG amplifiers, the output mode is pre-set and cannot be changed. The output mode is determined in advance by the appropriate designation type and is set at the factory.
