Thanks to the PP body, the PVDF impeller and the EPDM seals, the FCH sensor can be used in the monitoring of chemically aggressive flows.
The sensor works up to 90 °C and withstands a maximum pressure of 4 bar. The inner diameter of 1.6 mm inside allows to work with flow rates up to 3.0 lt/min with a wide rangeability from 1: 100.
The turbine has a good repeatability of ±0.5% and an accuracy of ±2% which can be improved by performing a calibration in the field by modifying the calibration factor.
The sensor is powered at 24Vdc and the output signal is PNP type which allows a direct connection with a PLC.
For use, a close-mesh filter of about 200 mesh is recommended to avoid compromising the internal helix and it is essential to maintain straight sections before and after the installation of the sensor to ensure its accuracy and repeatability.
