The Turbine Quantometer exploits the principle of proportionality between the amount of gas flowing through the meter and the rotations of the turbine. A mechanical/magnetic transmission system activates the counting unit, located at the top of the quantometer that shows the volume of gas under operating conditions.
Exceptional bearing accuracy, close tolerances of all measuring components, and the inclusion of a flow rectifier help minimize pressure losses. The measuring cartridge is separated from the outer body, ensuring immunity from potential mechanical stresses resulting from flange alignment inertia. In addition, it can be completely replaced.
With sizes ranging from 40 to 200 mm, these flow meters cover flow rates from 6 to 2500 m³/h. Standard rangeability is 1:20, but different ratios are available and they operate within pressure ranges of PN 16, PN 20 and ANSI 150.
