TRZ Turbine flow meter
The principle of measurement with a radial turbine represents an extremely versatile and reliable method used to determine the volumetric flow of gas. Thanks to its configuration, this instrument offers a wide range of possibilities, allowing the measurement of flows ranging from 5 to 650 m³/h.
To generate a precise and reliable output signal, the device can produce low-frequency pulses using a reed sensor or high-frequency pulses with a NAMUR sensor.
The installation of this device is simple due to its process connection through a flange in the sizes DN 50, DN 80, and DN 100, or via G 2" threads, which facilitates integration with existing systems.
An additional advantage is the possibility of equipping the instrument with an inertia brake, which aims to limit the rotational speed of the turbine, ensuring control of the gas flow's inertia passing through it. This mechanism prevents excessively rapid rotations of the turbine, allowing for a more accurate measurement of the volumetric flow.
Furthermore, all TRZ meters are equipped with the MID TCM 143/13-5110 certification, guaranteeing their approval for carrying out measurements in fiscal applications.
