The radial turbine measuring principle represents an extremely versatile and reliable method used to determine the volumetric flow rate of gas. Due to its configuration, this instrument offers a wide range of possibilities, allowing the measurement of flow rates ranging from 5 to 650 m³/h.
To generate an accurate and reliable output signal, the device can produce low-frequency pulses using a reed sensor or high-frequency pulses using a NAMUR sensor.
Installation of this device is easy due to its connection to the process via a flange in sizes DN 50, DN 80 and DN 100, or via G 2" threads, which facilitates integration with existing systems.
An additional advantage is that the instrument can be equipped with an inertial brake, the purpose of which is to limit the speed of rotation of the turbine, ensuring control of the inertia of the gas flow through it. This mechanism prevents excessively rapid turbine rotations, allowing more accurate measurement of the volumetric flow.
In addition, allTRZ meters have MID TCM 143/13-5110 certification, which grants them an approval to perform measurements in fiscal applications.
