WAIX Stainless steel AISI 316L weld fittings also for high pressures
The WAIX family of weld fittings can be installed on steel pipes up to DN600, and withstand pressures up to 110 bar. It is in addition possible, in low-pressure fittings, to choose the length of the same in order to make the tool work best.
The AISI 316L, of which the fittings are made, allows for quality and durable welds.
To calculate how much to insert the fitting inside the pipe (starting to measure from the outer surface), simply apply the following formula:
A = 0.12 x di + 2.5 + S
- A: millimeters to be inserted into the pipe
- of: inner diameter of the pipe
- S: the thickness of the pipe
