This wall-mounted alarm unit activates visual and audible alarms in the event of liquid accumulations which can be caused by tank leaks, flooding, storage rooms, inspection ducts, drain pans etc...
Suitable for the following fluids: water, fuel oil, diesel or low viscosity lubricating oils, engine oils, hydraulic oils, vegetable oils and transformer oils, antifreeze agents, oil-water mixtures and emulsions.
AFA11 consists of a control unit with visual/acoustic alarm, test/confirmation button and a flexible PTC thermistor probe.
The probe is mounted at the lowest point of the area to be monitored and the alarm is activated in case of contact with the leaked liquid.
The acoustic alarm can be deactivated with the dedicated button.
The visual alarm remains active until the leak has been removed.
The Test button allows you to simulate an alarm condition to perform a functional test.
The self-monitoring probe triggers an alarm if it is damaged.
The voltage-free relay contact is intended for connecting additional alarm equipment.
A sealing kit (IP 54) is available for difficult application conditions.
Use as a class III leak detection system according to EN 13160-1/-4 and as a leak detection system according to TRWS 791-1/-2.
