B-DO
B-DO is a digital output separator that serves as a safety barrier between intrinsically safe circuits (devices in potentially explosive areas) and external circuits. Facilitates the connection of conventional devices to intrinsically safe correctors and recorders.
Main features:
• Separator for up to 4 digital outputs for ELCOR, ELCORplus, ELCORplus indexer, DATCOM and DATCOMplus correctors.
• Output type: open collector.
• Mounting: on 35 mm DIN rail.
• Supply voltage: 12V DC.
• Operating temperature: -40 to +70°C.
The device isolates up to four digital signals, connecting input terminals DI1 to DI4 to output terminals DO1 to DO4 across a safety barrier. It also includes the U+ and GND terminals for the safe internal power supply required for the digital output circuits in the speller/recorder, galvanically isolated from the other speller circuits. The electrical parameters of the signals remain unchanged after passing through the separator.
