CLO
The CLO module is a digital signal converter for 4...20 mA current output. It can be connected to the digital outputs of the ELCOR series volume correctors, generating a direct current output proportional to measured analog quantities such as pressure, temperature and flow. Multiple CLO modules can be connected to a single device, depending on the number of digital outputs of the corrector or recorder.
Description:
• The CLO current output module must be connected to the correctors and recorders via a safety barrier (e.g. B-DO, B-DO/A) and positioned outside potentially explosive areas.
• The B-IB safety barrier for the internal bus is powered with 12 V DC.
• The Communication Splitter is contained in a plastic box and designed for installation on a 35 mm DIN rail rack.
The CLO module contains two galvanically isolated circuits: a digital input circuit and a current output circuit. Both require external power. For 4...20 mA current line, it is defined as passive transmitter.
The output current is controlled in a range from 3.5 mA to 24 mA. Information about the output current value is transmitted to the module via secure digital communication.
The CLO current output module has galvanic isolation between the DIN input circuit and the current output circuit.
