The Turbine Quantometer exploits the principle of proportionality between the amount of gas flowing through the meter and the rotations of the turbine. A mechanical/magnetic transmission system activates the counting unit, located at the top of the quantometer, which shows the volume of gas under operating conditions.
Exceptional bearing accuracy, close tolerances of all measuring components and the inclusion of a flow rectifier help to minimise pressure losses. The measuring cartridge is separated from the outer casing, ensuring immunity from potential mechanical stresses resulting from flange alignment inertia. In addition, it can be completely replaced.
CPT-04M quantometers offer the possibility to connect the instrument to the pipeline via gas or wafer thread and boast ATEX and PED approvals. They also comply with ISO 9001 and meet ISO 9951 DIN 33800 standards.
With sizes ranging from 40 to 200 mm, these flowmeters cover flow rates from 6 to 1600 m³/h. The standard rangeability is 1:20, but different ratios are available and they operate within pressure ranges of PN 16, PN 20 and ANSI 150.
Designed for outdoor use with an IP66 rating, these flowmeters can be installed horizontally or vertically. They are supplied with two low-frequency pulse generators as standard, while high-frequency NAMUR-type pulse generators can also be chosen as an option.
