EQZ Turbine flow meter
The principle of radial turbine measurement is a versatile and reliable method used to quantify the volumetric flow rate of gas in various applications. Thanks to its configuration, this instrument is capable of measuring flow rates ranging from 3 to 650 m³/h, providing a wide range of possibilities for use.
To generate the output signal, the device produces low-frequency pulses with a reed sensor or high-frequency pulses with a NAMUR sensor, ensuring precise and accurate readings.
The device's installation is facilitated by its process connection through a flange in sizes DN 50, DN 80, and DN 100 or through G 1½" or G 2" threads. This flexibility allows for easy integration with existing systems.
With its ability to operate at temperatures up to 60°C, the device can provide reliable measurements even in high-temperature environments. Its robust structure enables it to withstand a maximum pressure of 6 bar, making it ideal for various industrial applications.
Finally, this instrument can be equipped with an inertia brake that aims to limit the rotation speed of the turbine, controlling the gas flow's inertia as it passes through. When the gas flow enters the device, the turbine starts to rotate. Without the inertia brake, the turbine could rotate too quickly, making it difficult to accurately measure the volumetric flow.
